My passion for helping others has guided my career and brought me back to Uniting Parents—a nonprofit I care about deeply because of its honesty and kindness. I first joined this amazing organization 20 years ago as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. After two years, I went on to work in other nonprofits and public service roles before returning to Uniting Parents in 2022. I was so excited to come back and continue helping with its important mission.

As the Administrative Assistant, I help plan fun and meaningful activities for families and take care of some of the financial tasks to keep our program running smoothly. I also work with my team to solve problems, share ideas, and support families of children with disabilities. Being certified as a Professional Life Coach helps me connect with people, show understanding, and offer support in all that I do.

Uniting Parents isn’t just a job to me—it represents values I truly believe in. I’m proud to work with a team that makes such a big difference in the lives of families.
