Uniting Parents is a parent case management program that supports families raising children with chronic illnesses or disabilities. The program serves families across the upper 32 counties of the Texas Panhandle and focuses on helping children from birth through age 21 receive the care, guidance, and resources they need to thrive. By connecting families with services and support, Uniting Parents helps parents feel more confident as they navigate complex health and education systems.
The program is led by a dedicated team that includes a program director, administrative support staff, and Parent Case Managers. Many of the case managers are parents of children with disabilities themselves. Because of this shared experience, they bring compassion, understanding, and practical knowledge when helping families face daily challenges. Their goal is to guide parents toward solutions and provide encouragement along the way.
Uniting Parents works to strengthen families by offering information, education, training, referrals, networking opportunities, and ongoing support. Through these services, families gain access to important programs, medical resources, and community connections that improve their children’s quality of life.
