Coalition of Health Services invites families across the Texas Panhandle to attend the Clean Start: Back to School Hygiene Fair on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Sam Houston Park in Amarillo, Texas. This free community event helps local families prepare for the upcoming school year by providing free hygiene products through the support of local organizations and community partners. Last year, the event served more than 600 individuals, and this year's goal is to reach even more families with essential hygiene supplies and valuable community resources.
Having access to basic hygiene products plays an important role in a child's health, confidence, and success at school. The Clean Start: Back to School Hygiene Fair brings together local agencies, volunteers, and businesses to ensure families have access to items such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, and other daily hygiene essentials. In addition to free supplies, attendees can connect with organizations throughout Amarillo that provide year-round services and support for children and families.
Coalition of Health Services believes every child deserves the opportunity to begin the school year feeling clean, confident, and ready to learn. Families are encouraged to join us at Sam Houston Park in Amarillo on August 1, 2026, to receive free hygiene products while supplies last and learn about the many resources available throughout the community. Events like the Clean Start: Back to School Hygiene Fair help strengthen families, build healthier communities, and ensure children have the tools they need for a successful school year.
