Families’ Respite Program

The Family Support Services and Community Resources grant has been awarded to Uniting Parents. As part of our mission, we will be providing a respite reimbursement program for families in the upper 32 counties of the TX Panhandle and we will provide respite funds to be used by families to help pay for extracurricular activities such as, camps, workshops, and special events.

If your child with disabilities would like to attend or participate in a club, camp, workshop, or an organization to help promote peer support, inclusion, and or independent skills, give us a call.

In addition, we are proud to provide limited post-secondary educational scholarships for young people enrolled in our program who want to go to college, a university, or acquire a vocational certification.
